  28.     I'm not going to bore you with the usual registration, shareware,
  29.   features, and usage here. BUT I do strongly suggest you read the
  30.   rest of this short document for future upgrades and support. If
  31.   you have any suggestions for improvements or bug reports they can
  32.   be mailed to the address above or at the end of this file. If you'd
  33.   like to have the source code (* Turbo Pascal *), future upgrades
  34.   plus other custom features, REGISTER IT !!!!!!!

  38. ---- DESCRIPTION  ----------------------------------------------------------

  41.         EPPuzzle is a very simple  and easy game.  It  generates 15
  42.     random words and places them in a 15x15 block of random letters.
  43.     These words  can  placed  in  the  puzzle diagonally, backwards,
  44.     forwards,  vertical, horizontal or  any combination.  The object
  45.     of the game is to  find all of  the words  listed down the right
  46.     side of the puzzle in the block letters.
  47.         When you find a word  click on the first letter,  the box at
  48.     the top  will display the  letter and the button for that letter
  49.     stays down.  When you click on the next letter  in the word it's
  50.     displayed in  the top box and it's button stays down also.  When
  51.     you've clicked on  all the letters the  word is removed from the
  52.     list of words on  the right,  all the  buttons for that word are
  53.     released and your ready to start on the next word. If you make a
  54.     mistake and click on the wrong letter then click on the  top box
  55.     that spells out the word or the box that says CLEAR  and all the
  56.     buttons will  be  released so you  can start again.  When and if
  57.     there are  later releases  the CLEAR  button will be removed and
  58.     just the picked  display button will be used for mistakes.

  63. ------- INSTALLING EP-PUZZLE -----------------------------------------------

  65.  1)  Copy the file PUZZLE.EXE and README.TXT to your windows directory.

  67.  2)  From the file manager select FILE,  then NEW.

  69.  3)  When asked for Program Group or Program Item select
  70.      Program Item

  72.  4)  For Description: put EP-Puzzle

  74.  5)  For Command Line: put \{WINDOWS PATH}\PUZZLE.EXE

  76.  6)  For Working Directory:  put \{WINDOWS PATH}

  78.  7)  Click ok and it will add the puzzle program to your
  79.      windows folder.

  84. ------- FUTURE ADDITIONS ----------------------------------------------------

  86.         The future of this game depends on you.  If you send in your
  87.     registration fee then future upgrades  will be possible. If not
  88.     other projects will get the  programing time. It depends on you!
  89.     Here's a list of possible upgrade additions.

  91.         The option of printing the puzzles with the answers.
  92.  
  93.         The option to create your own puzzle using the words that
  94.         you choose.
  95.          ( This option could be used to create puzzles with a persons
  96.            childs spelling words. Then let the child spell the out
  97.            the words from the puzzle. )

  99.         Printing to the printer or the clipboard.
  100.          ( The addition of printing to the clipboard would be very
  101.           nice for creating newspaper or news letter like games
  102.           or even word puzzle books.)

  104.         Better checking of the clicked on letters.
  105.           ( The way the puzzle is setup now you don't have to click
  106.             on the letters in the word order. For example the word
  107.             LETTERS you can click on the L and then the second E
  108.             then TT and the first E then RS and it will be the same
  109.             as clicking on LETTERS in that order.)

  114.     EaglePro will not be held responsible for any damage WHAT SO EVER this
  115. game might do to your computer including hardware damage, software damage,
  116. or data damage. This program has had many hours of testing before it was
  117. released. To the best of my knowledge it could not possibly do any damage

  145.     program for a period of 30 days. At the end of the 30 day period
  146.     you must either send $10.00 to the address listed below or remove
  147.     the program. Usage of the EP-PUZZLE Game for longer than the 30 day
  148.     evaluation period requires that you register the product with the
  149.     author. Failure to do so violates Federal Copyright Laws and places
  150.     you in a position to which the author can pursue monetary damages

  178.  = VERSION 2 ADDITIONS ===================================================
  179.  
  180.       The print function has been added. The printing works but has
  181. no cancel requester and is only setup for three resolutions. The
  182. resolutions are 180x180 360x360 and 720x720. It's setup to print
  183. at 180x180 with out any changes. To change to a higher resolution
  184. from the puzzle screen save a puzzle named the higher resolution.
  185. An example would be 360.PUZ would print a puzzle in 360x360 and
  186. 720.PUZ will print a puzzle 720x720. In future updates there will
  187. hopefully be a select printer, cancel printing, and print resolution
  188. requester. If you change from 360 to 720 printer resolution then
  189. you have to remove the old 360.PUZ file. If you save a file for
  190. higher resolution then to go back to 180x180 resolution remove
  191. the 360.PUZ or 720.PUZ  file.

  193.       The option for Editing or personalized puzzles has been added.
  194. The words are limited to 10 charatures and there are 10 words.
  195. Type in the words that you want but don't press enter until you've
  196. added all you want to add. Check the spelling and what ever else you
  197. need to do before pressing enter. If you accidently press enter before
  198. your done then you will have to reenter the words.
